Firmware version including 3.00: Firmware versions was in the beginning made so the dip switches were read by the software.
Dip 7-1: Node Id
Dip 8: Selection if Dip switches or Motor address should be used as Node Id.
Dip 10-9: Termination of Profibus line.
Firmware version 3.01:
Dip 7-1: Was never read.
Dip 8: State are not read. Set to use motor address.
Dip 10-9: Termination of Profibus line.
Firmware 3.02 and 3.03 etc.:
From now on a new version are split into 2.
- 3.02, 3.04 etc. never reads the dipsw. 7-1 or 8 but always
use the motor address.
- 3.03, 3.05 etc. reads the dip sw. 8 and if requested dip 7-1.
Future versions:
Next time a new version are ready to be released two versions will come up - 3.06 and 3.07 like 3.02 and 3.03.
